As part of a two-semester university project, I had the opportunity to work on our own brand, Askalaps.
In the first semester, I focused on project planning and backend development, building the foundation for the application. In the second semester, I designed and implemented the Askalaps mobile app using Flutter, combining frontend development with UX-focused design decisions.
Thanks to my previous five years of experience in project management, I was able to contribute not only as a developer but also in planning, coordination, and translating ideas into a structured development process.
Additionally, I supported the brand’s visual communication by designing posters and creating the script for project videos.

During the technical implementation of Askalaps, I contributed to the application architecture, from the database structure all the way through to backend development. The project is based on Quarkus and WebSockets.
Later, we further developed the database for an MQTT communication system with a LoRaWAN gateway.
My main focus was the UX design and frontend implementation of the mobile app using Flutter, translating user flows and interface concepts into a functional application. This project strengthened my understanding of combining user-centered design with full-stack development.
